Electioneering
Continuous reading of voter sentiment, macro and micro campaign strategy, voter-outreach execution, and the channels that carry a narrative.
Political Intelligence & Advisory
REDACO has spent a decade reading voters, shaping campaigns and building parties across one of the world's largest and most diverse democracies. We work quietly, and directly with leadership.
01 — What we do
We help build durable governance and lasting electoral strength — across three disciplines that reinforce one another.
Continuous reading of voter sentiment, macro and micro campaign strategy, voter-outreach execution, and the channels that carry a narrative.
Sectoral assessment of performance — target versus delivery, the efficacy of last-mile benefit delivery, and manifestos built with implementation in mind.
An honest read of a party's strengths and gaps, and the internal building that turns organisation into presence — and presence into votes.
How we operate
We work quietly. We do not take credit for our clients' success.
We engage continuously — not only in the campaign window — because the groundwork laid early, in voter understanding, priority mapping and organisation, is what a campaign later draws on.
02 — How we think
Every engagement rests on the same three methodologies, applied in different measure — built on fieldwork and hard data, deliberately combined. Where the data a decision needs does not yet exist, we generate our own.
The evidence base. Qualitative fieldwork and quantitative primary data — CAPI and telephonic (CATI) surveys, with analysis of past voter behaviour — turned into a clear reading of voters, leaders and issues, and the strategy that follows from it.
The action. Political-strategy findings translated into voter-facing and party-strengthening campaigns, executed across on-ground and digital channels — and measured for impact on favourability and turnout.
The voice. Managed media properties and high-quality content shape the political narrative, supported by systematic tracking and scoring of every prominent voice — a real-time read on who is winning the narrative, and on what.
03 — Selected work
A few engagements, fully anonymised — from winning contests to running the ground operation on data. Different work, one discipline: read the reality, act on it, and get the organisation right.
A party that won big nationally kept losing the same state for 25 years, stuck under 40%. The problem: it fought state elections on national pride, while local voters cared about roads, water and daily services.
We listened to what voters actually complained about, and switched the message from national pride to local progress.
The party crossed 40% to a 48% majority — and formed the state government for the first time in 25 years.
After 20 years in power, voters still liked the party but were tired of the same leader. So we advised naming a new face for the future, and showed several possible successors together so rivals couldn't attack just one.
As the sitting government, we also delivered fresh promises to women voters straight away — acting, not just promising.
The anger at the old leadership faded. The party won about 50% of the vote and a fresh mandate.
20 years in power had tired voters, but the opposition was remembered for an era of crime and collapse. People wanted change, yet feared going back.
We replaced about half the sitting candidates, reminded voters what the old days were like, and built a caste-balanced alliance so the vote didn't split.
The vote rose from about 37% to 47% — the party's biggest win in 20 years.
Public satisfaction had fallen 8 points, and normal surveys showed what had changed but not why. We used machine learning to read thousands of recorded voter interviews and pull out the real reasons, ranked by how often they came up.
The causes were clear — people didn't know how to apply, delivery was slow, no one followed up, and promises felt unmet. The government acted on each: outreach visits, faster rollout, follow-up contacts, and on-ground verification.
Satisfaction recovered by 9 points, and awareness of the schemes rose 51%.
A client's cadre had to reach over 20 million households in a tight window, but daily productivity was low and reporting was patchy — leadership couldn't see what was really happening on the ground.
We put the operation on live data: tracking daily activity, working hours and outreach per worker, and showing leadership exactly where effort was being lost.
Daily outreach rose sharply — about 45% more households covered by the same cadre, in the same time.
A field campaign sent cadre door-to-door with a set script to build awareness. Under pressure to hit numbers, some began cutting corners — skipping steps and filing work that hadn't really happened — quietly corrupting the results.
We rebuilt the checks so shortcuts were caught early and honest work was rewarded, realigning incentives around quality rather than speed.
Shortcuts and false reporting fell by around 40%, and the client's message reached voters the way it was meant to.

04 — Coverage
We have covered every major region, every layer of the electoral system, and every kind of constituency — where each state is almost a country of its own. That shapes how we read any new political environment.
From border districts to coastal megacities; tribal interior to dense metropolitan suburbs.
Dozens of official languages and over a hundred distinct dialects in active electoral discourse.
Every major faith electorally relevant; thousands of communities shaping voting behaviour.
Voters ranging from the very wealthy to subsistence farmers — within a single constituency.
Two-party, three-party and fragmented multi-party contests, often within one region.
Metropolitan, secondary-city, peri-urban, rural and deep-rural — each with distinct voter mechanics.
05 — Scope & reach
Our practice was forged across the national and sub-national cycles of one of the world's largest and most diverse democracies — and it is designed to travel. We are extending it to new democracies internationally, where the same disciplines of evidence, organisation and narrative apply. In every market we pair a senior core team with locally-hired field researchers, for language, access and ground truth.
National and state parties across general elections and by-elections — from country-wide contests to a single decisive constituency.
Those defending a mandate and those seeking to win one — the work differs, the rigour does not.
Governments and chief-ministerial offices, on delivery tracking, governance intelligence and reform.
We work with confidence in unfamiliar terrain because our method is built for it — a decade spent where dozens of communities, languages and party systems meet within a single map.
06 — How we work
A new engagement begins with a defined diagnostic study over two to three months — a low-risk way to establish value, giving an honest reading of where things stand and a concrete plan for what comes next.
A combined qualitative and quantitative study, scoped to the client's priorities.
A senior team deploys on-site, alongside locally-hired staff who bring ground knowledge and language access.
An honest, evidence-based read of the party's current standing, strengths and exposure.
A concrete plan of action, presented on the back of the assessment, defining the path beyond the diagnostic.
Principles
We do not take credit for our clients' success, and maintain no media presence around the work we do.
We work in close coordination with party leadership, and avoid building parallel relationships without reason.
We commit to full transparency on methods, findings, costs and limitations at every stage.
Political data is sensitive, and we treat it that way — encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access, comprehensive NDAs covering staff and field partners, defined retention windows, and a default posture of zero attribution.
